Wow, what a start to the year!
We are thinking of everyone in this difficult and unsure time, in particular our customers, both retail and commercial, who are feeling the effects of the current health crisis.
We’d like to update you all on the changes it has meant for our business, and for those of you who buy our beef. One of the beautiful things about being a small business is that it allows us to be nimble, and gives us an opportunity to be reactive and pro-active in times of sudden change.
Online Ordering is Now Available...
You may have seen on social media in the last day or two that we have just implemented the ability to buy our products online.
We now have a shop front on Open Food Network, a fabulous initiative that allows producers like us to connect and sell to their customers easily through their online marketplace.
While we don’t have our entire range up there, we have offered convenient mixed boxes to get people through this time, as well as some smaller items that can be purchased separately in any order. If there is something you would like to order that is not on the shop, please send an email through to orders@wbgbeef.com.au or call or text Lizette on 0438 871 560. We will be delivering to your door within 7 - 10 days after the order window closes, all you need to do is LEAVE AN ESKY OUT in a safe place (away from animals) for us to place your order in.
If you would like to place an order, click HERE to go through to the shop
This is a new process for us, so please be patient as we iron out any crinkles. We will be making updates and changes to the shop as they become available and hope this service will become a permanent option for our customers into the future.
Farmers' Market Update
This also seems like a good time to give you an update on the Farmers’ Market situation for us.
At this stage, we have made the very tough decision not to attend anymore Farmers' Markets for the foreseeable future.
As we have been able to adjust our business to sell online, we have decided to limit our social contact as much as possible through this time.
We want to stress though, that as an essential service Farmers’ Markets are continuing to operate across Victoria and have implemented strong protocols around hygiene. While this hasn’t been an easy decision, it is one we have made with our community and family in mind. We will keep you updated on our market status as the situation goes on.
For now though, we are really excited to keep providing you with our meat online, on socials, and over the phone.
Stay safe and well, and we will speak to you soon.
Allen, Lizette and the Team at Warialda
